TRIP TO WINDSOR CASTLE POEM 39
On Thanksgiving day, I think of my family and all I have, and am deeply grateful. Love, friendship and sharing our moments is something that I treasure. The weather is fine and I look forwards to our turkey pasta dinner. It is wonderful to share with you too - so I am also thankful for my readers!
“Gratitude bestows reverence.....changing forever how we experience life and the world.” John Milton
The Sky
The light shimmers beyond,
The cloud cover thick,
Its dense matter shrouding
The Earth with a grey dull.
What lies beyond my love,
Is where we hope to tread,
Not today but together,
And with surer tread.
The heavens above do not
Portent ease so our travail,
Will be hard and seeming fruitless,
But it is more that we build.
So we look to the sky for
Our future and meaning,
To our hearts for our centre,
And to each other for pleasure.
“Let us make one point, that we meet each other with a smile, when it is difficult to smile. Smile at each other, make time for each other in your family.” Mother Teresa
