TRIP TO WINDSOR CASTLE POEM 30

It's a sunny day and the weather is crisp and cool. As we edge towards advent, the mellow colours are changing to more wintery ones. We are getting sleepier too, as the days shorten. For advent, I'm thinking of spices and apples to celebrate the Three King's travel to find Jesus.

Patient

To be patient is difficult,

When patience is required,

The part I play,

Is a patient one.

So the patience,

With which you must

Indulge me is great,

For we are two.

The life before us is good,

And so we must plan,

Before pursuit to grow,

Together and not apart.

So I need your patience,

As to be two is necessary,

Or I should be left

Behind as one.
