TRIP TO HISTORICAL BATH POEM 15
All misty today, the ground was barely visible for the dank particles. There is a mystery to mist, as it hides all that lurks within. We also have artistic mist, something that is curious to the bystander, but looking inside can be as treacherous as walking through a misty forest.
“Flowers scattering - The water we thirst for Far off, in the mist.” Kobayashi Issa
By The Light
We will be guided by the light my love,
For it is before us and shines for us,
Between hope and salvation it shines,
Lighting a path with the straight shaft.
Look at it my love it is there for us,
Our hope and joy lies between us,
There is nothing but happiness in store,
For we love a true love and that is for us life.
Braver than I you reach further than us,
But where but here lies the truth?
There are battles abroad but they are not ours,
For we are here my love and are quite enough.
Look no further than this light my love,
And we shall prosper for it is all there,
There are no great treaties or pacts to be made,
For the greatest one we have kept.
“The roiling, restless fog is like chaos before a storm, swirling streaks resembling wintry clouds. Serpents lurking there can spread its pestilence, and evil spirits can havoc wreak, sending pain and woe to the world of men, and the storms of wind and sand that plague the border wastes. Common souls meeting it fall dead. Great men observe it and despair. Are we returning to the primal state that preceded form itself — to undivided Heaven and earth?” Luo Guanzhong
