TRIP TO HISTORIC BATH POEM 56
The sunlight dapples through a tree. We weather a storm. One finds the sunlight in a bad situation, as one walks towards the brighter parts to get some sun.
“Tis in ourselves that we are thus or thus. Our bodies are our gardens to the which our wills are gardeners.” William Shakespeare
The Outlook
Before the window he sat pensively,
Wondering at the situation,
There was much to be done,
But the little girl was not back.
The girl was a very brave one,
She did not fear others,
For she had self-assurance,
Which came from constant study.
He stood there looking and to
His surprise he saw her atop a bus!
Now this was most strange as he
Thought she was to come home.
What a naughty girl!
To take a bus without me,
He supposed there was no
Extra fee.
“The heights charm us, but the steps do not; with the mountain in our view we love to walk the plains.” Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
