TRIP TO HISTORIC BATH POEM 50
The grey of the city life is grim, as the weather turns to the windy and rainy. There is little light now, but when I went to Bath it was gorgeously sunny - we were lucky as it is not the season for such weather.
“Some folks call her a runaway. A failure in the race. But she knows where her ticket takes her. She will find her place in the sun”. Tracy Chapman
Omnibus
Shall we take a ride atop the bus?
Take a trip for pleasure in the sun,
And hold each other close while
Making plans for our life and love?
It is not a trip for everyone through,
The eaves of history and the charming
Spot to find and admire whilst,
Comfortably perched in amorous bent.
We have our ticket and we wait,
The pleasure so great we take another
Tour more extensive than before,
And with abandon plan our nest.
Surely we will be as happy,
In our new surroundings as we were,
For there is plenty of joy to be found,
Especially when the bus is outbound.
“I like joy; I want to be joyous. I want to smile and I want to make people laugh. And that`s all I want. I like being happy. I want to make others happy.” Doris Day
