TRIP TO HISTORIC BATH POEM 46
Frosty and then sludgy was the ground. Traipsing through the park brought relief to the cold monotony of January. Our footsteps did not leave a track in the frost but certainly our feet made their mark on the mud.
If we cannot love ourselves, we cannot fully open to our ability to love others or our potential to create. Evolution and all hopes for a better world rest in the fearlessness and open-hearted vision of people who embrace life.” John Lennon
Our Life
We love, we live, we think,
We walk, we talk, we run,
And before our day is done,
We give thanks and eat.
Our life is simple for my cares,
Are your cares and all woes,
Are put into a box and you
Look at them and order them.
Perhaps there is more for me,
But with our daily task,
And practice my day is full,
And our lives roll on.
You would not change it,
Nor would I so quiet,
And tired I wait for you,
To confide in me your dreams.
“A life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable, but more useful than a life spent doing nothing.” George Bernard Shaw
