TRIP TO HISTORIC BATH POEM 41
To share is to live. Sharing of yourself is very difficult sometimes, as you want to hide from the World and be a churl yourself. So the sensitive artist is prone to pauses in their creativity - known sometimes as the writer's block. Scheduling myself daily does seem to be working out, but sometimes life really gets in the way, so with 10 minutes to go I publish today's post.
“For what it's worth: it's never too late to be whoever you want to be. I hope you live a life you're proud of, and if you find you're not, I hope you have the strength to start over again.” F. Scott Fitzgerald
Proud
So you do want to see me?
There is no great secret to keep,
And we may go as we might,
Without fear of prejudice and spite.
So you will greet me?
Acknowledging me as someone,
The someone in your life,
That someone whom is your wife.
So I can sit here with you?
Being touched by you sentimentally,
With our vows acknowledged,
And our future clear.
There will be no fence,
No chaperone with book in hand,
No churlish hand to part us,
And all will know of us.
“Oh, I have always been proud, I always wanted all or nothing! You see it was just because I am not one who will accept half a happiness, but always wanted all”. Fyodor Dostoyevsky
