Sometimes things do not go to plan. This does not mean that life is a disaster, although it can really feel like an upheaval. The most tempting and beautiful seeming offers can be leading to something terrible, so sometimes you let it go.

Invitation

You brought me into your world,

Enveloped me in your scent,

Leaving your not on my pillow,

Leaving nothing to guess of your whereabouts.

Whereabouts to look I do not know,

As we now have somewhere to go,

I had not counted on it,

As secrets are easy to keep.

A love affair is not a public thing,

My dear,

But here I have an R.S.V.P.,

I am not a plus-one,

So I beg to differ and I run.

Diamonds are forever,

The memory shall not stay,

But for these words and trinkets,

It is very much to my taste,

But I am not so easily won.
