Measuring is a way to investigate. The weight of a situation can also be measured, but we do not define the tool for measurement in the same way. We can call a situation deeply important or a weighty matter - so we know that somethings weigh more than others. It is this that makes an artist 'deep' or not.

Wisdoms

The height of a mountain

Is relative to the depths of the water,

So it is for the lover,

The quality of the love,

Being relative to the depth of feeling.

The measure of our life,

My love, is the rule of our love,

Each line or groove instrumentally

Demonstrating to the other

The method and tool of measuring

The metaphor.

So I pen these lines as a

Testament,

A proclamation,

A deed,

A poll,

A sacrament to our love.

There is no measure more true than this.
