Losing something is sometimes finding something.
Defeated, sometimes I have found it is better to let go. You think you have found something and then you have not - life is a process, as well as art being so, and those two relate to each other if you consciously let it. Sometimes a picture is seen as the entrance to someone's unconscious, the colours, the shapes, the content, for example, reveal the deeper desires, motivations, even beliefs or mindset about the world, without the artist being fully conscious of it. This process, if you choose to investigate it or analyse it, is available to you. This letting go is, they say, possible in life. I must admit, sometimes I do let go, hoping it will come back.
